The Sitting Room hosts a Book Group that meets in February, May, August and November. The mission of the Sitting Room Library is the preservation and promotion of works by women in literature, arts and other fields. In keeping with this mission, the Book Group selects literature and memoirs focusing on women’s experiences written by women and exceptional books written by all writers, as agreed to by the Group. Books are recommended to the Group, discussed and selected by Group consensus. The individual that recommended the selected book leads the Group discussion. Co-leading discussions is also an option.
